The polycrystalline photovoltaic module is made of high-efficiency Grade A class solar cells. It is used for small power plants of autonomous or backup power supply, as well as a power source for low-power consumers (flashlights, electric shepherds, mobile phones, radios and other low-voltage equipment).

The cells are made of polycrystalline silicon, a material obtained by cooling molten silicon. It contains a small number of impurities, graininess and mass heterogeneity are possible, but such production is cheaper than growing monosilicon wafers, and the efficiency of polycrystalline wafers is not much lower.
