The TECNOSELF 15 PRESSDRIVE R pumping stations, thanks to the built-in self-priming valve, have a strong self-priming capacity, lifting water with an empty suction pipeline to a height of up to 9 m *.

A flow control unit with a built-in non-return valve allows for fully automatic operation of the pumping station.

The flow control unit implements the functions of protection against "dry running", operation "on a closed valve", visualization of connection to the network, station operation, protection operation (LED indicators on the body of the flow control unit), auto-restart (with time intervals between restarts 1, 5, 15 and 60 minutes), as well as a manual station reset button (RESET).

The hydraulics of the pumping stations are made of non-oxidizing materials: stainless steel, polymers**.

The principle of operation of the self-priming valve

The self-priming valve body configuration provides strong suction capacity when the pump body is filled with water and the suction line is empty. When the pump is started, due to the rotation of the impellers in the aquatic environment, centrifugal forces arise that ensure the pumping out of air from the suction pipeline. Then a strong vacuum is created in the pipeline, due to which water begins to rise through the pipeline to the suction pipe of the pump. Reaching the pump, water fills its interior. In this case, the mixture of air and water circulating in the pump is gradually replaced by water, which has a much higher density, which leads to a multiple increase in pressure inside the pump housing. The design of the valve is designed in such a way that at the moment of complete filling of the internal space of the pump, the valve closes under the influence of the water flow, while increasing the performance and overall efficiency of the pump.
